Young at heart

Korean artist Jee Young makes beautiful surrealistic and Photoshop-free photography. She refers to her personal life experiences and Korean fables. I love her creation of a fairytale world, reminds me of Alice in Wonderland.

The Record Breaker - Brian McGinn

My posts will be mainly about books, films, illustrators, artists, music, that inspires me. They are all connected in one way that the thing that attracts me to them are their sense of childlike wonder.

Here's one to start off with:
Brian McGinn's shortfilm 'The Record Breaker'

Welcome!

This is the image that made the conclusion of a lecture that I attended yesterday in my screenprint class. It made me set up this blog.
I've been feeling quite uninspired lately, and in those few moments that I get inspired I realize it's because I am able to release the child in me.
So from now on I will share my inspirational thoughts with you, hope you will feel inspired too.
If I ask myself the question "When am I most happy?", it's when I can be a child again. And I think this feeling comes close to what many artists feel when they are creating something new into the world.
